What is a good way to estimate the cost of construction for a residential house anywhere in India?

Let's calculate on a assumption as below-

Typical B class construction costs around 1000 to 1100 per square foot.
So a 1000 square foot house should cost between 10 to 11 lakhs.

Typical A class construction costs anywhere from 1500 to 2500 per square foot.
So a 1000 square foot house should cost between 15 to 25 lakhs.

and like that ...

Suppose, we wish to build a 1000 square foot house that should cost between 7 to 8 lakhs.
then the cost per square foot will be Rs.700 to Rs.800 and a 2-BHK house can be easily built on this.

You can even bring the cost to as low as Rs.650 per square feet for a decent house.

Only, you need to evaluate cost of the land you need to buy and the size of the house you need to construct on it and which location of the city and which city you have choosen.
